Every child is capable to shine. It’s the belief that drove our founder to create Minds@Work by Jeremy. Often, parents are clueless, but is should not feel impossible to help your child.
Without positive parental support, attitudes and attributes, your child has little chance of learning proficiently. When children themselves learn to focus on effort and strategies, they can start feeling responsible for positive outcomes, and responsible for their own successes in school and in life.
To do our part, we are hellbent on empowering students with the most equalizing forces out there: Knowledge.
By incorporating Smart Family’s fundamental principles of Assess, Raise and Talk, we have take the first step in unlocking every student’s learning potential by giving every student the opportunity to build knowledge.
We are on the mission to grow Smart Family by bringing in partners from diverse backgrounds (local and overseas) and have wide-ranging areas of expertise, allowing parents to play a critical role in providing a learning bridge between school and the home, while instilling in their children positive attitudes and values towards learning and life.
The work begins by recognizing that far too many curriculum are designed around a presumption of how the average student learns. But there is no average student. Every student has unique learning needs, and when a curriculum doesn't recognize this learner variability, it locks many students out of the opportunity to build knowledge.
